WEEK 1

DAY 1

I am a child of God

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as He is. 1 John 3:2

Prayer: Lord thank you that I am your child! I am a child of the King of kings. Help me to remember that because I am your child, you will never leave me nor forsake me. I have been adopted into your family, and you will never let me go. You are my heavenly Father forever, and I submit my life to you. Thank you Lord, that I can call you Father. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 2

I am anointed with the Holy Spirit

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:27

Prayer: Lord, thank you that I am anointed with the Holy Spirit! You have adorned me with your garments of splendor and beauty. Your Holy Spirit is my counselor, and teaches me your truth. Help me to always remember that I am anointed, and filled with your Holy Spirit. Give me direction and wisdom in this life, to live for you and for your glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 3

I am the salt of the earth

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. Matthew 5:13

Prayer: Thank you Lord, that I am the salt of the earth! Help me to share your love with those around me in a way that is inviting and palatable. Help me to not lose my saltiness, but to constantly be fueled by your passion and love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 4

I am loved

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. John 15:9

Thank you, Lord, that your love for me will NEVER fail. I am loved by you, therefore I have nothing to fear. Thank you that your perfect love casts out fear. Because I am loved by you, I can face what lies ahead. I praise you because you are with me, always. Thank you Lord, for your unending, everlasting love for me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 5

I am sanctified by the truth

Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. John 17:17

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for sanctifying me with your truth! Your truth cleanses me from all unrighteousness. Thank you that I am cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross, so that now I can live in true freedom and forgiveness in you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 6

I am protected from the evil one

My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. John 17:15

Prayer: Thank you Lord, that you surround me with your protection. You have surrounded me with your favor and grace as with a shield. Thank you, Lord that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I have your anointing, and nothing can separate me from your love. Thank you for protecting me from the flaming arrows of the evil one. Help me to continue to trust in you as you fight my battles each and every day. In Jesus name I Pray, Amen.

DAY 7

I am holy through Christ

For it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16

Prayer: Thank you Lord, that I am Holy through Christ! I am not holy or righteous on my own, but through the blood of Jesus, I am made pure and clean. Thank you, Lord, that you have set me apart for your righteous purposes. Help me to live out the calling and purpose for which you have placed me on this earth. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

WEEK 2

DAY 8

I am free from darkness

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the  prisoners… Isaiah 61:1

I praise you Lord, that I am free from darkness! Your truth illuminates my path. Thank you for your holy Word, that is a light for my feet. You are the Light of the world. You have given me light, life, and freedom. Help me to walk in your freedom and in the light of your love each and every day. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 9

I am redeemed by the blood of jesus

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 1 Peter 1:18-19

Thank you Lord, that I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus! I praise your holy name, because you have paid the penalty for my sins. Now I can walk in right standing with you, and I can live a pure and righteous life before you. Help me to spread the truth of your Gospel to those around me, that others may also come to know you and be redeemed by your love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 10

i am forgiven through Christ

Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses. Acts 13:39

Thank you Lord, that I am forgiven through Christ!  I thank you that you remember my sins no more. You have thrown them into the sea of forgetfulness, and you do not hold them over me. Thank you Lord, that your Word says that if I confess my sins, you are faithful and just, and will forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Thank you Lord, for your forgiveness that I have in Christ. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 11

i am beloved of God

To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7

Lord, I thank you that I am your beloved. You have loved and cherished me, and you have lavished your love upon me. Thank you that your love for me will never be shaken. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 12

i am justified by faith

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

Thank you Lord, that I am justified by faith, and now I have your peace and reconciliation. Thank you for this wonderful gift. You do not hold my sins against me, but you have forgiven me of my sins and justified me through faith in Christ. For this, I will praise your name. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 13

i am not forsaken

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

Thank you Lord, that you will never leave me nor forsake me! You are ALWAYS with me. Your right hand is beside me. You walk along the path with me. Thank you Lord that when I wake up, you are there. When I lay down, you are there. Thank you for walking with me each and every day. Thank you Lord, that you will ALWAYS be with me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 14

i am saved

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.  Hebrews 7:25

Lord, I thank you so much for the gift of your salvation. Thank you that you loved the world so much that you died on the cross for our sins, so that we may be saved. Thank you for the gift of eternal life, and help me to spread your love and joy to those around me, that they may also receive salvation in you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

WEEK 3

DAY 15

I am no longer a slave to sin

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. Romans 6:6

Thank you Lord, that I am no longer a slave to sin! I am now free to serve you wholeheartedly. I do not have to fall into the sinful habits of my past, but I can walk in true freedom and confidence, knowing that I am no longer a slave to sin! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 16

I am alive in Christ

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11

Thank you Lord, that I am alive in Christ! I no longer live for myself, but I truly live for you. Thank you that your Holy Spirit breathes new life into my soul. Help me to continually trust in you every day, and walk in faith. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 17

I AM A SERVANT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

18 and being made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness. Romans 6:18 Lord, I thank you that I am no longer a slave to sin, but now I am a faithful servant to you and to your righteousness.

Thank you Lord, that I can live for you. May this be for your honor and for your glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 18

I am an heir of God

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8:16

Thank you Lord, that I am an heir of God. Hallelujah! Because you have adopted me as your child, I am now an heir to all of your rich blessings. Help me to remember that all your spiritual blessings are my inheritance. I can confidently walk in the rich blessings of your Holy Spirit. Help me to claim your promises and the spiritual blessings of righteousness, peace, and joy that I have through the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 19

I am rescued by Jesus

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath. 1 Thessalonians 1:10

Lord, thank you for rescuing me. Thank you for never giving up on me. Through salvation in Christ, you have rescued me from the pit of destruction. Now I can walk fully in the light of Christ, and can live out the purpose and calling that you have in my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 20

I am filled with the fruit of the Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Lord, thank you that I am filled with the fruit of your Holy Spirit! Thank you that I am filled with your fruit of righteousness, peace, love, joy, gentleness, faithfulness, patience, kindness, self-control through Christ. Help me to walk according to your Holy Spirit each day, and may I overflow with the fruit of your Spirit. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 21

I am filled with the fruit of righteousness

Filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:11

Thank you Lord, for the wonderful fruit of your righteousness! Help me to walk in your righteousness each day by the power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

WEEK 4

DAY 22

I am strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being. Ephesians 3:16

Lord, thank you for your joy, that is my strength. Please continue to strengthen me with power through the Holy Spirit to do what you have called me to do. I do not have to rely on my own strength, but I can live fueled by your mighty power and strength in my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 23

I AM ACCEPTED

5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure  Ephesians 1:5

Thank you Lord, that I am accepted through Christ. I am not rejected by you, but you have welcomed me into your loving arms. Thank you Lord for accepting me and for granting me your grace, mercy and peace. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 24

I AM CHOSEN

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:4

I praise you Lord, that I am chosen! Thank you Lord for choosing me to be part of your family. Help me to pray for those around me, that they may also be included in the wonderful family of God. Help me to live my life as a part of the royal priesthood, chosen for your purposes and glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 25

I am crucified with Christ, and he lives in me

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Lord, I thank you that my old ways are in the past, crucified with you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to lay down my old ways of living, and to walk in your new life each day. I no longer live in my own strength, but you live within me. Strengthen and equip me each day to radically live for you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 26

I am an ambassador for Christ

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20

Thank you Lord, that I am an ambassador for Christ! There are many people who do not yet know you. Help me to be an ambassador for Christ, and to represent your love and righteousness to the world around me. Show me how to be a light in this dark world, and to shine the light of your love to those around me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 27

I am a new creation

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Thank you Lord, that I am a new creation! The old has gone, the new has come! Help me to lay down my old self and put aside the things in my life that are not of you. Help me to put on your righteousness, peace, love and joy as I put on my daily clothing. Help me to walk in the newness of life I have in you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 28

I am reconciled to God

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18

Thank you Lord, that I am reconciled to God! There is no longer a chasm or deep divide separating us. Through Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection, I now have access to your throne of grace. Our relationship is reconciled and restored, and I can live with you forever in eternity. Thank you Lord! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

WEEK 5

DAY 29

God will never stop loving me

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10

Thank you Lord that you don’t change your mind or renege on your covenants. When I asked your Son Jesus to come into my life, I became part of your family forever. When the challenges of life causes me to struggle ever so often, you do not abandon me. You have promised to love and have compassion on me even when my life is in chaos.
I thank you Lord that you will never stop loving me, even though I falter. You sent your Son Jesus Christ to reconcile me back to you. For this I give you thanks! In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 30

He will fulfil the desires of my heart

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4

The only thing that will truly be delightful in my life, now and forever, is you Lord. Your love makes me whole and as a result, my desires yearn for your will for my life. What’s important to you is important to me. What makes you happy makes me happy.
Thank you Father God for keeping me in your hands and holding nothing back from me. In you, my joy is complete. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

DAY 31

He cares for me

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

I worry and I am afraid at times. I have various concerns that overwhelmed me in different areas of my life, but God, you have promised me that I can cast all my cares on you because you care. You will give me true peace in the midst of my storm. Father God, I bless your holy name and I am grateful that I can cast my cares on you. I praise you for all the great things you have done, I worship you for who you are. Help me to give thanks daily and not take for granted the privilege I have through my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 32

He has removed my transgressions

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He has removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12

The bible reminds me in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Through Jesus Christ, God has removed my wrongdoings from me. From the east to the west suggests, that my sins were very excessive.
Being aware of all the ways I have failed you O Lord, can sometimes cause me to forget the opportunity you’ve granted me to be receptive of the love that you still have for me through grace. No distance from you will deprive me from your forgiveness and favor. Through the shedding of Jesus’ blood, I am purified. Thank you God for cleansing me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 33

He will never forsake me

I have been young and now am old; yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed beg bread. Psalms 37:25

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I shall live a worry free life. All of my needs will be met because you are aware of my needs, and you have promised to meet all of them according to your perfect will.
Lord, I thank you because you will never forget me. Help me to establish my trust in you. I will never forget your promises in any situation I find myself in. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 34

He has justified me

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am justified by faith. I have been made righteous by faith. I have peace with you God by faith, which means that instead of being an enemy with you through sin, I am at peace with you through faith in Jesus Christ. Instead of being eternally separated from you by sin, I have been placed in eternal union with you, by your Son Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, thank you for justifying me through faith. I now have peace with you through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 35

He has paid the price for me

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

In the book of Romans chapters 6 verse 23, Paul stresses the free gift of eternal life. I can never do enough to earn your grace and forgiveness God. No one measures up to your holiness and perfection. Jesus paid the price and I reaped the gift. I am liberated from the impossibility of seeking to earn your forgiveness through works. My sin incurred a debt that I did not have the wherewithal to pay.
Father, I thank you that the wages of my sin have been paid through Jesus Christ, help me to embrace that free gift. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

WEEK 6

DAY 36

He will complete me

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

It’s often challenging to stay encouraged when I don’t see immediate results. God has started a good work in me. He has not completed the work, but he’s working on it. As a believer in Jesus Christ, I am saved by grace through faith. When I gave my life to Christ the Holy Spirit was downloaded in my soul. He’s with me, helping me grow and learn from my mistakes. God will never give up on me, so I won’t give up on myself.

Dear Lord, thank you that you have begun this amazing work of grace in my soul and the souls of my fellow believers. Through your grace and mercy, the completion of the good work that you have begun in my life, will eternally benefit me, and will bring your name eternal praise. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 37

He will deliver me from affliction

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalms 34:19

When my heart has been broken and crushed by tragedy, I as a believer  in Christ can have hope that the affliction will not last forever. When I’m faced with extreme suffering, I will not be disheartened. The righteous will suffer many afflictions, but the Lord will deliver us from them all.

David was in a cave when he wrote this Psalm. Though he was in exile, he knew that the Lord would save him and protect him from harm. God will do the same for me.

Heavenly father when I am fearful, distressed, mourning or afraid, I know that you are my help. Your Holy Spirit is in me and beside me. For this I give thanks, In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 38

He will bless me and add no sorrow

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22

In order for me to receive and walk in my God’s blessings, I must walk in faith. I don’t want to miss the blessings you have for my life because of the lack of faith. I believe that prosperity is your will for my life. I must believe to receive from you.

I also realize that your blessings never add sorrow to my life. Like oil and water, the two doesn’t mix. Anything that you bless me with, will add abundance, value, and elevate my life.

Lord, I give you thanksgiving and praise for every blessing. I declare by faith that you have poured out your blessings in every area of my life. We praise you and worship you, In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 39

He has crucified me with Christ

I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me; and the life I live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Paul is declaring in Galatians 2:20 a fundamental Christian truth. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Though I continue to live in the flesh my life is now directed by faith, not by my sinful flesh. The Holy Spirit’s sanctification starts to work progressively, making me holy while renewing me in the image of God.

Lord, in Christ I’m made new. Thank you heavenly father that I can look beyond my past straight into the eyes of our loving Savior. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 40

He will not allow me to be tempted by more than I can handle

No temptation has overtaken you except such as common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

I face temptation daily. God, you know how much or little I can handle, and you do not allow me to experience more than I can handle. When I am facing a temptation that seems insurmountable, I must remember that you give me strength to get through it. Even if I fail and give into a temptation, you give me a way back to a right relationship with you through repentance.

Thank you, Father, for your faithfulness. I have weaknesses and temptations that I struggle with. As I surrender to your perfect will, help me to choose the way of escape that you have provided me. In Jesus’ name I  pray, Amen.

DAY 41

He is my refuge and strength

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in the time of trouble. Psalms 46:1
God, your miraculous deliverance of your people in the bible is amazing. The God you were then, is the God you are even now.
My faith is always being subjected to storms and dilemmas. Where can I find security?
There is a fundamental basis for my faith. The God who made me and everything in the universe. In all circumstances, no matter how terrible or frightening, my unchanging God is my refuge and strength.

Heavenly Father, thank you for being my refuge and strength and equipping me with your word. I pray, to stand fast and trust You in everything. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

DAY 42

He has given me power in the tongue

Death and life is in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21
I must be careful of the words that I allow to come out of my mouth. This proverb reminds me that words are powerful. Verbal attacks or slander can’t break bones, however words can create positive or negative realities. They can build up, or tear down.
This is why I must speak the word of God out of my mouth concerning  every circumstance in my life. I decide what I will speak, because it is me who will experience the details of the words I speak out of my mouth.

Father God, let my words and deeds reflect your love and your will. Show me how to speak your Word over myself and others. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

WEEK 7

DAY 43

He has given me a spirit of power, love and a sound mind

For God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power love and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

In a world full of challenges, trials and uncertainty, this scripture reminds me that God has given me a powerful spirit. I will walk in boldness which denotes a humble confidence, coupled with the power to love, and self-control when I can’t control the things around me.

Lord, I will trust in you. I know you will provide. I will not fear or faint. I don’t have to worry when I have blessed assurance in you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 44

He has given me a specific functionality in the body

For as we have many members in one body, but not all members have the same function. Romans 12:4

Paul has presented the church in this scripture as the human body. A body has more than one member. It has numerous members. Differing members of the local church have different gifts, each gift has its special purpose for the church. The issue here is where the individual fits into the corporate family of God. Each individual has his own gifts to contribute to the body.

Dear Father, thank you for making me a part of something that is living, powerful, and everlasting. Thank you for giving me special gifts and abilities to use in the Body of Christ. Help me to find and use my gift for your glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 45

He has great plans for me

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

God knows all and has authority over everything that was, is, and is to come. He is not surprised by anything. He has made a plan for me and despite my shortcomings, God declares that He still has good things in store for me because his love is unconditional.

God’s plan cannot be stopped. It always include what’s best for me as a result, I continually expect to experience all that God has for my life.

Thank you, Lord, for the plans you have for me. Enlarge my vision of you and enable me to trust your word of truth through all the circumstances that life will bring. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 46

He delights in my way

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his way. Psalms 37:23

God gives me both provision and protection, which are needed when I am  dealing with the bitter circumstances of life. When I give God what he orders, he is providing and protecting me as a result of my obedience.

My steps are ordered, fixed, and secured by my Father in heaven through Christ Jesus. Nothing on earth below or heavens above can cause the steps of those that have been made righteous through Jesus Christ to stray so far or to fall so severely, that God in His grace will not reach down and pick them up.
Thank you Father, that my steps are ordered by you, that you take delight in establishing the way I should go, and are able to keep me from falling. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 47

He will turn evil to good

But as far as you, you meant evil against me; God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Genesis 50:20

It was probably jealousy that caused Joseph’s brothers to treat him so cruelly, throwing him into a pit and finally selling him into slavery, causing his father such deep sorrow and pain. But God in His infinite wisdom turned such a heinous crime into an amazing story where God was glorified in the end.

When evil and distressing situations happen in my live, I have choices: I can wallow in self-pity, murmur against God for my misfortune, and stay stuck in the state of bitterness and anger. I choose by faith, to rest in the promises of God, knowing that no matter what happens in this life, God will bring good out of evil. He will bring life out of death. He will bring joy out of sorrow.
Lord God, I thank you for your good intentions toward me and the evil that is or will be planned against me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 48

He is my help

I will look to the hills from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. Psalms 121:1-2

It’s good to have a support system in place, but I need to look further than that. Because history and experience has taught me that no safety plan, no insurance policy, no security system can keep me absolutely safe in this life.

That’s why I need to look to God for help. God helps those who seek His help. Lord I lift up my eyes to the hills, seeking you, knowing that you will supply all my needs, for I belong to you, my maker, and no evil power or principality can separate me from your love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 49

He works all things for my good

And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to   those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

God ordained His redemptive plan and purpose in the eternal realm of heaven before the foundation of the world. His plan is a good plan, a perfect plan, a plan which will come to full fruition when Christ returns. A plan where God is working all things together for his own glory and for the eternal good of all who love and trust Him as Saviour and Lord.

This reassuring scripture reminds me that I am free of God’s judgement and condemnation because I am in Christ and released from the curse of the law, slavery to sin, and Satan’s accusations.
Heavenly Father, thank you for causing all things to work together to achieve your great redemptive plan for my life. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

WEEK 8

DAY 50

He is pleased by my faith

Without faith it is impossible to please Him, because he who comes to God must first believe He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Having faith in the Lord Jesus is the only way I can have a relationship with the God who created the heavens and earth. It is through the Lord Jesus Christ that God saved me from my sins. When Jesus died on the cross for my sins, He did it all for me. God knew that I couldn’t save myself from sin. There is no amount of good works or spiritual rituals that I can exude to be accepted by God.
Oh God, make me a person of faith who pleases you, who believe that you exist, and who will experience the reward in seeking you, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 51

His strength is made perfect in my weakness

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

The awesome power of God is made perfect, in weakness. The places where I’m most feeble, are the best platform for the Lord to show His perfect strength. God can be most clearly seen when I make my boast in the him only. When I stop trying to prove to the world that my strength is adequate enough to handle my obstacles, God will show up and allow his strength to prevail on my behalf.
Heavenly Father, help me to rejoice and recognize that your power is made perfect in my own weakness. Help me to boast all the more gladly in my inabilities so that your great abilities may be manifested in my life, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 52

He has great plans for me

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

God knows all and has authority over everything that was, is, and is to come. He is not surprised by anything. He has made a plan for me and despite my shortcomings, God declares that He still has good things in store for me because his love is unconditional.

God’s plan cannot be stopped. It always include what’s best for me as a result, I continually expect to experience all that God has for my life.

Thank you, Lord, for the plans you have for me. Enlarge my vision of you and enable me to trust your word of truth through all the circumstances that life will bring. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 53

He will direct my path

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

I must trust God with all my heart and not depend on my own way of thinking. I must constantly include God in everything I do, as a consequence, I give him the opportunity to keep me on the right path. When I trust in God with all my heart, it means that I leave no room for doubt. I believe what he says because I know he is always right and will never deceive me. God sees the bigger picture and knows what lies ahead. Help me Lord to trust you with all my heart, and lean not to my own understanding, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 54

He will not condemned me

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. Romans 8:1

Since I have sincerely given my life to Jesus Christ, there is no condemnation directed towards me that comes from God. All that I have ever done, or will do, is covered by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
Since I am a child of God, when I repent of my sins, he promises to forget them as if the sins never occurred. So I choose not to focus on the sins of my past, or feel guilty about them, due to receiving God’s mercy and forgiveness. Lord, thank you for the mercy and grace you freely offer to all those who turn to you, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 55

He gives His word to lighten my pathway

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

The word of God is my navigation and compass in life. It is also my guide, help, deliverance, peace, joy, redemption and my everlasting promise.
The light of God’s word makes things clearer and visible so that I will not trip and fall into the traps and snares of the enemy. As a Christian, I must daily search the word of God to study, believe, and obey it. Heavenly Father, I seek to remain in close fellowship with you. I thank you for leaving your word to lead and guide us, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

DAY 56

He is my hope

O Lord, you alone are my hope. I’ve trusted you, O Lord, from childhood. Psalms 71:5

God does not forget me. When he made the world, he set in motion his amazing and wonderful providence. He has given me winter and summer, cold and heat, seedtime and harvest, and these things will never cease. He has given me the stars and planets to be my calendar, and the sun and moon to be my clock. I can hope to have so many things in the life, but the greatest hope is found in my Savior Christ, the hope of glory, who is the fulfilment of God’s promise to restore me. It is not hope that denotes wishful thinking, this is a confident hope that is about expectancy, and joy, as God works in me and through me. God is continually shaping me to be more like Christ who I will see face to face one day. Lord, I thank you for being my father and God. You are such an awesome God, and worthy to be praised. Thank you for being my hope and loving me in spite of me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
